About Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance

Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance is a family owned and operated company. We opened as a heavy equipment parts repair company in May of 1998 as a spin off of Rohrig Sanitation Inc. This garbage collection company was started by our father, William H. Rohrig III, in 1956. That’s where my brother and I got our start.

From Garbage Trucks to Other Heavy Equipment

After years of successfully repairing heavy equipment parts and components for Rohrig Sanitation trucks ourselves, we decided to use our expertise to help other machine owners. Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance was born.

We started with one truck and one mechanic to service heavy equipment parts, torque converters, rear end diferentials, engines, transmissions, and other components and have since expanded greatly. What started as a one truck company to repair heavy equipment machine problems and breakdowns resulted in such success that we have continuously been able to expand the company.

Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance: The Present

We now own six full service repair trucks to complement the success of our heavy equipment part and component repair system. Rohrig Heavy Equipment Maintenance employs six qualified field mechanics able to pick up your broken heavy equipment parts and components on site. They are serviced at our full service component rebuild shop before being returned to you quickly and in proper working condition. Repairs to your fork lifts, scrapers, and other types of machines may also be completed completely on site in some instances.
